Your stay can be diversified. The Serra da Lousã area has fantastic conditions for the practice of a high number of sports. You'll be able to mix sport practice with cultural and religious activities of the region. The St Jonh (24 of June) and Our Lady of the Mercy (During May) celebrations in Lousã and of Our Lady of the Aid (first sunday of August) and St Brás (first Sunday of February) in Serpins. The honey of brezal and the chestnut of the mountain (ingredients of the typical cake `Serranitos') have their high point in the Fair of the Honey and the Chestnut (second end of the week of November). Otherwise, you can walk or ride a bicycle; the Casa Vale do Linteiro has bicycles you can use for free.
